The installation work of the solar panels and the new air conditioning system at the COSIB headquarters in Termoli has been completed. The intervention, implemented as part of the CO-CLEAN project, involved the renovation of the old air conditioning system of its administrative headquarters.

The previous system was obsolete and negatively affected the structure's energy consumption while the new one also includes a photovoltaic plant on the roof aimed at integrating the power supply. This new system will increase the energy efficiency of the building, contributing to the reduction of the energy costs of the structure and, in general, to the reduction of CO2 emissions. The implementation of energy efficiency measures in a public building will positively influence citizens and all parties involved in the rational and sustainable use of energy sources.

The pilot action implemented by COSIB, foreseen by the project, is one of the best practices in the field of energy saving interventions promoted by the Programme. In fact, the CO-CLEAN project's main objective is the development of intervention strategies for Energy Efficiency in the buildings of the program area, in order to reduce the negative impacts on the environment and on climate change.
